What is Tax Account Monitoring?

  • Tax Monitoring is the systematic in-depth review of your IRS Tax Account which includes a full history of all transactions and activity.

  • Monitoring should include advanced notice of Audit, Collection Activity, and other adjustments to your IRS Tax Account.

  • Tax Account Monitoring can also be effective in detecting Tax Identity Theft.

Tax Account Monitoring will provide you insight into activity as it happens on your IRS account. Through our ability to link directly with the IRS, we receive alerts of most notices before you, the taxpayer, receives notice in the mail - sometimes up to 6 months in advance.

When important changes take place on your account, depending on the Alert Level, a member of our team will notify you and provide you with recommendations on the appropriate actions.

If you've ever had an IRS tax problem, consider enrolling in Tax Account Monitoring.
